Mr. Lamar Morris, age 84, of Auburn, Alabama (formerly of Opp) passed away at his home on Thursday, June 1, 2023.

Lamar is survived by his wife, Cathy Ross Morris; son, Rickey Lamar Morris & wife, Kathy; daughters, Tawana Morris Askins & husband, James, and Samantha Drinkard Smith & husband, Michael; grandsons, Brandon Morris, Chadd Askins, Paul Ellison and Nicholas McGee; granddaughters, Shayla Askins, Amber Jensen, Chloe Smith and Cecilia Uzzle; and great-grandchildren, Emory Askins, Oliver Prange, Jasmine Allison, Analease Jensen, McKenzie Ellison, Kelsey Ellison and Ariana Ewings. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Morris General; parents, Bessie Woodard Morris and Dewey Morris; and sisters, Lois Morris Holmes, Luna Morris Greene and Eunice Morris Hodges.

Funeral services for Mr. Lamar Morris will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, June 5, 2023 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation for friends will be held from 12 noon until service time.
