Mr. Lamar Bass, age 74, of Opp, Alabama passed away Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Alabama.

Mr. Lamar Bass is survived by his wife, Wanda Shouppe Bass; daughter & son-in-law, Brook Cotton & Jon; son & daughter-in-law, Brian Bass & Robyn; sisters, Wynell Gilmer and Cathy Wiggins and her husband, Mike; brother, Robert Bass; and grandchildren, Kaylee Bass, Will Bass, Ben Cotton and Della Cotton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dawson and Della Mae Rodgers Bass.

Funeral services for Mr. Lamar Bass will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, February 4, 2025 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with graveside to follow at Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Pastor Chris Dunham will be officiating with Danny Bess, Bobby Jackson, Danny O'Toole, Larry Rodgers, Steve Rodgers and Bill Walding serving as pallbearers.

Flowers may be accepted or memorials may be made to the Vision Fund at Southside Baptist Church of Opp.
