Mr. Kenneth Wayne Carter, age 61, of Opp, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 in Mizell Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Carter is survived by his wife, Melba Kay Fleming Carter; son, Kendall Dewayne Carter; sister, Karen Woods & husband, Keith; brothers-in-law, Harry Hensley, Wyman Fleming and Byron Fleming; sister-in-law, Sharon Norris; and numerous nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvia Powell Carter & Roy Carter; sister, Kathy Hensley; brother, Kevin Carter; mother & father-in-law, Cleon & Lester Fleming; and grandparents, Minnie & Johnny Carter, Ethel Qualls & Dee Powell.

Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth Carter will be held at 2 pm Thursday, July 23, 2020 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Marcus Ramer will be officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Kyle Hensley, Chris Summerlin, Dave Summerlin, Roger Pridgen, Larry Henley and Derwood Cleland. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 at Wyatt Funeral Home.
