Mr. James Keith Barnett, age 62, of Opp, Alabama passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Baptist Health in Montgomery.

Keith is survived by his son, Brent Barnett; granddaughter, Jade Barnett; sisters, Debbie Williamson, Alesia Sasser & husband, Clint, and Renee Barnett; brothers, Gary Barnett & wife, Cathy, Terry Barnett, and Darrell Barnett & wife, Paige; numerous nieces & nephews along with their spouses and children; and ex-wife & life-long friend, FaLisa Daughtry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary & Ralph Barnett; and sister, Kathy Sasser.

A Celebration of Life for Mr. James Keith Barnett will be held from 2:00 pm until 3:30 pm Sunday, March 8, 2026 at the boat ramp pavilion in Frank Jackson State Park. Bro. Garry Winstead will be officiating.
