Ms. Judy Barnes Sherling, age 83, of Opp, Alabama passed away Friday, April 11, 2025 at Southeast Hospital in Dothan.

Ms. Sherling is survived by her children, Harry Jacobs & wife, Phyllis, Alesia Lowe & husband, Bill, Glenn Lacey and John Sherling; grandchildren, Elizabeth McAninch & Jesse, Joseph Timmermeyer & Olivia, Matthew Timmermeyer & Stephanie, Megan Day & Alex, Michael Jacobs & Kassidy, Kristopher Feder, Margaret Lacey, Stephanie Sherling, John Sherling, IV ,and Lauren Kirkpatrick & DJ Schick; and great-grandchildren, Sophie & Avery McAninch, Lily & Sadie Timmermeyer, Jack, Sam & Crosby Timmermeyer, Louise Day, Leila Kirkpatrick and Oren Schick. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bonnie Inez Brown Barnes and Glen Tyson Barnes; and brothers, Glen Barnes, Jr., Steve Barnes, Terry Barnes and Jeff Barnes.

Funeral services for Ms. Judy Barnes Sherling will be held at 11:00 am Friday, April 18, 2025 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Bro. Garry Winstead will be officiating
