Mrs. Joyce Williams Meeks, age 80, of Opp, Alabama passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at her home.

Mrs. Meeks is survived by her son, Steven Meeks & wife, Candy; daughter, Savanna Meeks Langford; sister, Joan Williams Grimes & husband, Walter; and six grandchildren & two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ferrell Meeks; son, Darren Meeks; daughter, Kathy Meeks; grandson, Kevin Meeks; brothers, Milton Williams and Donald "Wormy" Williams; and parents, Mary Ollie Pope Williams and Robert E. Williams.

Funeral services for Mrs. Joyce Williams Meeks will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, November 9, 2023 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Gary Miller and Larry Jackson will be officiating with special music by Kelly McCollough and Mary Sue Ashberry. Serving as pallbearers will be Brody Langford, Jackson Langford, Michael Elmore, Josh Elmore, Jason Terry and Bray Adcock.

The family will be receiving friends at the home of Joan & Walter Grimes, 25563 Hwy 84 W, Opp, Al 36467.
