Mrs. Margaret Joy Cooper Wilson, age 84, of Opp, Alabama passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at her home.

Mrs. Wilson is survived by her husband, James Douglas Wilson; son, Daron Wilson & wife, Staci; daughter, Jana Wyatt & husband, Tim; sister, Deb Jackson & husband, Larry; grandchildren, Drew Wilson, Meri Crutchfield and husband, Justin, Anna Wyatt & Ashlyn Wyatt; great-grandchildren, Layton Wilson & Weston Crutchfield; and very special friends, Barbara Harrison, Alison Clark, Jane Hogg and Bridget Faulkner. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maebell Taylor Cooper & James "Red" Cooper; and sister, June Clark.

Funeral services for Mrs. Joy Wilson will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, January 30, 2025 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Larry Jackson will be officiating with Keith Wilson, Craig Wilson, Jacob Rogers, Lance Jackson, Tanner Jackson and Brent Bracke serving as pallbearers.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Westview Baptist Church or Mizell Memorial Hospital Foundation.
