Mrs. Mary Josephine Donaldson Blue, age 85, of Opp, Alabama passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023 in Mizell Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Blue is survived by her sons, Doug Blue, Bill Blue & his wife, Tammy, and Roger Blue; grandchildren, Nickey Blue, Ben Blue & Elizabeth, Ryan Blue, Ansley Blue, Courtney Blue and Morgan Blue; and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Blue; sister, Ida Merle Pearson; brother, Thomas Houston Donaldson; and parents, Callie E. Coon Donaldson and Southern Thomas Donaldson.

Graveside services for Mrs. Mary Josephine Donaldson Blue will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, December 26, 2023 from Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery. Jerry Elmore will be officiating with Chad Elmore, Blake Turman, Ryan Blue and Ben Blue serving as pallbearers. There will be no public visitation prior to the service.
