Mr. Jonathon Brian "Jon" Gilmer, age 45, of Troy, Alabama passed away Thursday, May 9, 2024 at his home.

Jon is survived by his wife, Brittney Whitman Gilmer; parents, Cassie Dorsey Gilmer and Mike Gilmer; sister, Candace Gilmer Fannin; brother, Joe Gilmer; grandfather, Willie Gilmer; mother-in-law, Sheila Whitman; sisters-in-law, Courtney Whitman and Amber Whitman-Hood & Jimmy; several special nieces & nephews, Lily Musgrove & Duston, Katie Gilmer, Ava Musgrove, William Whitman-Davis, Kailey Whitman-Davis, Alexander Whitman-Davis, Evie Hood, John Hood, Abby Bloxham and Morgan Bloxham; and numerous aunts, uncles & cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Nell & Noah Dorsey; and paternal grandmother, Pauline Gilmer.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, May 25, 2024 at the Opp Depot. All family and friends are invited to attend.
