Mr. Johnny J. Hollinghead, age 86, of Opp, Alabama passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025 at his home.

Mr. Hollinghead is survived by his sons, Greg Hollinghead and Stephen Hollinghead & wife, Kim; daughter, Lynn Hollinghead Shiver; brother, Carl Hollinghead & wife, Sheila; sisters, Shirley Dodson & husband, Arthur, and Carolyn Easter & husband, Willie; step-children, Jeff Burkett, and Joy Reeves & husband, Obie; and 8 grandchildren & 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Lenora Kilcrease Hollinghead; wife, Joann Powell Hollinghead; son, Mike Hollinghead; and parents, Sarah Thompson Hollinghead and Jefferson G. Hollinghead.

Funeral services for Mr. Johnny J. Hollinghead will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, August 27, 2025 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Sweet Home Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Bro. Garry Winstead will be officiating.

The family will be receiving friends at the home of Johnny Hollinghead, 27186 US Hwy 331, Opp.
