Mr. John Roderick Rainey, age 65, of Kinston, Alabama passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023 in a Dothan hospital. John was born in Opp, Alabama on August 4, 1957 to his late parents, Ella Louise Driggers Rainey and John Carmen Rainey. He was an avid reader and enjoyed collecting music of all genres.

Mr. Rainey is survived by his brother, Roger Rainey; Aunts, Ann Weeks & husband, Rex, Peggy Harrison and Betty Stuart; along with several beloved cousins and family members.

Funeral services for Mr. John Roderick Rainey will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, January 15, 2023 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Bro. Randall Pearson will be officiating with Keith Stephens, Timmy Stephens, Dylan Stephens, Dewayne Crews, Zack Smith and Terry Smith serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
