Mr. John Howard Harrison, age 83, of Opp, Alabama passed away Thursday, April 8, 2021 in a Dothan hospital.

Mr. Harrison is survived by his wife, Retha Carnley Harrison; son & daughter-in-law, Shaun Eric Harrison & Melissa; daughters & sons-in-law, Pammy Harrison Powell & Howard, and Angela Harrison Butler & Kevin; grandchildren, Jonathon Chambless & Stephanie, Molly Powell, Harrison Powell, Ashton Butler, Jadah Harrison and Rylee Brooke Harrison; and great-grandchild, Saylor Chambless. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cora Lee Grimes Harrison and James Monroe Harrison.

Funeral services for Mr. John Howard Harrison will be held at 2 pm Monday, April 12, 2021 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Elbert Smith and Gary Smith will be officiating.

The family will be receiving friends at the Harrison home, 604 Cader Ave., Opp, AL
