Mr. John Carmen Rainey, age 92, of Kinston, Alabama passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at his home. He is a decorated Army Veteran who served in the Korean War where he received two purple hearts

Mr. Rainey is survived by his sons, John Rainey and Roger Rainey; sister, Ann Weeks & husband, Rex; and sister-in-law, Merl Rainey. He was preceded in death by his wife Ella Louise Rainey; brother, Rudolph Rainey; sisters, Nome Crews and Lavaunigh McCluskey; and parents, Estelle Williams Rainey and Bruce Rainey.

Funeral services for Mr. John Carmen Rainey will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Wyatt Funeral Home with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Randall Pearson will be officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
