Mr. William Joseph "Joe" Lunsford, age 87, of Andalusia, Alabama passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at his home.

Joe lived in Montgomery, AL for over 50 years and was a Supervisor at Albany International, Appleton Wire Division from 1964 until he retired in 1998. He was married to his wife Faye for 63 years and enjoyed spending his free time carving, fishing, hunting, singing, and photography. He was a longtime member of First Assembly of God Church in Montgomery where he was a Deacon and faithful member of the choir. Joe was a family man who took joy in the time he spent with his children and their various activities.

Mr. Lunsford is survived by his wife, Faye Creech Lunsford; daughters & sons-in-law, Yana Lunsford Wyatt & Scott, and Sona Lunsford Strickland & Rob; son & daughter-in-law, Deron Lunsford & Deidra; brother, Ron Lunsford & wife, Nelda; grandchildren, Shea Dickenson & Alan, Toyia Colquett & Kyle, Tyler Wyatt, Joey Imsand and Kayla Imsand Schmidt & Cody; and great-grandchildren, Caleb, Emory, Theo & Owen Dickenson, and Heidi, Karter & Sophie Colquett. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucille Cauley Lunsford and William "Bill" Earnest Lunsford; brothers, Danny Lunsford and Donny Lunsford; and sister, Sue Driskell.

Funeral services for Mr. William Joseph "Joe" Lunsford will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, June 7, 2025 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Wyatt Funeral Home Saturday morning from 9:30 until service time. Rev. Jim Ingram and Pastor Stacey Gaston will be officiating. Alan Dickenson, Kyle Colquett, Shannon Pugh, Tyler Wyatt, Roger Rogers and Joey Imsand will be serving as pallbearers.
