Mrs. Jo Ann Clark McBryde, age 78, of Opp, Alabama passed away Monday, February 7, 2022 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida.

Mrs. McBryde is survived by her husband of fifty-six years, Charles Vernon McBryde; son, Charles McBryde; daughter, Rhonda McBryde Sumpter & husband, Mike; brother, Woody Clark & wife, Wanda; grandchildren, Nathan Sumpter & wife, Marina, Matthew Sumpter & wife, Lacie, and Seth Sumpter; great-grandchildren, Abi, Sophia, Lily and Remi; along with numerous nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Sean Sumpter; and parents, Dessie Ree Hopson Clark and Bruce Woodfin Clark.

A graveside service for Mrs. Jo Ann Clark McBryde will be held at 11:00 am Friday, February 11, 2022 in Antioch Congregational Church Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held at Wyatt Funeral Home from 9 until 10:30 am on Friday. Gary Miller, Larry Jackson and Woody Clark will be officiating with special music by Christy Clark and Dylan Worley. Serving as pallbearers will be Matthew Sumpter, Seth Sumpter, Nathan Sumpter, Sam Catrett, Patrick James Bussenius and Thomas Clark.
