Mr. Jerry Hayward Harper, age 74, of Opp, Alabama passed away Thursday, September 25, 2025 surrounded by his family at his home.

Jerry is survived by his daughters, Alison Clark & husband, Neil, Paige Ellis & husband, Chad, and Hope Weaver & husband, Andrew; significant other, Michelle Yelland along with her children, Carlie Sasser & husband Joe, Jesse Palmer, and Randi Palmer; brothers, Rowayne Harper and Sherwood Harper & wife, Patsy; grandchildren, Hayden Harrelson & husband, Brandon, Ashten Clark, Peyton Ellis, Brody Ellis, Paisyn Clark, John Woodrow Weaver and Harlow Weaver; and great-grandchild, Branston Harrelson. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Tatum Weaver; brother, Derwood Harper; sister-in-law, Louise Harper; and parents, Agnes Maughon & Woodrow Wilson Harper.

A time of visitation to celebrate the life of Mr. Jerry Haward Harper will be held at Wyatt Funeral Home from 2:00 until 3:00 pm Sunday, September 28, 2025 .

The family will be receiving friends at the home of Hope & Andrew Weaver, 24194 Woodrow Lane, Opp, Alabama 36467.
