Mrs. Mildred Jeanette Reeves Day, age 93, of Opp, Alabama passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024 at her home.

Mrs. Day is survived by her sons, Eddie Day & wife, Danita, and Ronnie Day & wife, Lynda; sisters, Quyless Force & husband, Francis B., and Barbara Blankenship; grandchildren, Tiffany Day Johnson & husband, Blake, Judson Day & wife, Dovennie, Ty Leath & wife, Jennifer, and Tim Leath & wife, Jackie; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Day; son, Richard Day; brothers, Eldridge Reeves and Gene Reeves; and parents, Bonnie Lee Tucker Reeves and Henry Eldridge Reeves.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Jeanette Reeves Day will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, January 21, 2024 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Bro. Gary Miller will be officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons, Tim Leath, Ty Leath and Judson Day along with great-grandsons, Jackson Leath, Christopher Leath, Burke Day, Webb Day and Anthony Leath.
