Mr. James Harvey Weeks, age 82, of Opp, Alabama passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024 in Andalusia Hospital.

Mr. Weeks is survived by his wife, Mary Joyce Richardson Weeks; son, Terry J. Weeks & his wife, Tammy; sisters, Evelyn Sims, JoAnn Welch and Elizabeth Howard; grandchildren, Joni Capers & her husband, Richard, and Dustin Turner & his wife, Dawn; great-grandchildren, Gretchen Varner, Joy Varner and Michael Lee; several step-grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carrie Bell Carnley Weeks and William Harvey Weeks; brothers, Dykes Weeks, Ellis Weeks and William Weeks; and infant grandson, Timothy James Weeks.

A graveside service for Mr. James Harvey Weeks will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, March 6, 2024 in Fairview Cemetery. Flint Harrelson will be officiating with Tom Northey, Rick Northey, DeeBoy Ramer, DeWayne Weeks, Dustin Turner and Richard Capers serving as pallbearers. Visitation for friends will be held Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 at Wyatt Funeral Home.
