Mr. James Cecil Hoomes, age 92, of Opp, Alabama passed away Friday, June 19, 2026 in Southeast Health.

James Cecil is survived by his son, Bobby Hoomes; granddaughter, Jaela Robbins; and great-grandchildren, Garret Robbins and Aida Robbins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Lou Morrison Hoomes; sons, Michael Hoomes and Jayme Hoomes; grandson, Walt Hoomes; and parents, Levis (Patterson) & J. C. Hoomes.

A graveside service for Mr. James Cecil Hoomes will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, June 22, 2026 in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens.
