Mr. James E. Farris, age 81, of the Alberton Community died Thursday, June 11, 2020 at his home.

Mr. Farris is survived by his wife, Perlene Lindsey Farris; son, Andy Farris; daughter & son-in-law, Becky Farris Creel & Jeff; brothers & sisters-in-law, Charles Farris & Linda, Howard Farris & Jolinda, Hoyt Farris & Louise and Tony Farris & Sherrie; grandchildren, Lindsey Farris Holley, Hannah Farris Jones, Dustin Lindsey, Sierra Creel and Cole Creel; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Maude Crabtree Farris & James Marion Farris, Jr.

Funeral services for Mr. James E. Farris will be held at 2 pm Friday, June 12, 2020 from Alberton Baptist Church with burial following in Alberton Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service. Bro. Harry Driggers and Bro. Garry Winstead will be officiating with Wyatt Funeral Home directing. Serving as pallbearers will be Cole Creel, Dustin Lindsey, Stacy Farris, Shane Farris, Donald Farris and Brian Peacock.
