Mr. James Howard Carter, age 89, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at his home.

Mr. Carter is survived by his daughters, Janice Powell & Carl, and Barbara Kring & Frank; sons, Jerry Carter & Myra, Jimmy Carter & Vickie, and Jamie Carter & Wanda; step-children, Lisa Hegland & Chuck, and Aubrey Davis & Rhonda; brother, Robert Earl Carter & Frances; special friend, Thelma Morrow; along with 13 grandchildren and numerous great & great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Carter; and daughter, Judy Faye Carter.

Funeral services for Mr. James Howard Carter will be held at 2 pm Friday, March 5, 2021 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Shaun Moore will be officiating.
