Mr. James Cecil Brown, age 80, of Opp, Alabama passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan.

Mr. Brown is survived by his daughter, Vera Brown Kendall; granddaughter, Paige Kendall; niece, Donna Giles & husband, Tim; and nephew, David Collier & wife, Theresa. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Brown; and parents, Vera Fillingim Brown and Bennett Brown.

A Memorial Service for Mr. James Cecil Brown will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, February 23, 2025 from New Hope Baptist Church. Scott Prescott will be officiating. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
