Ms. Jackie Bush Benwell, age 88, of Opp, Alabama died Wednesday, October 6, 2021 in Medical Center Enterprise.

Ms. Benwell is survived by her daughters, Kitty Garvin & husband, Jerry, Wanda E. Hattaway, Sandra Edwards, and Tammy Edwards Burlison & husband, Gary;  brothers, Thomas Bush & wife, Joyce, Ricky Bush & wife, Maria, and Jimmy Bush & wife, Sheila; sisters, Lois Mayhood, Flora Coffman and Ann Barnes; adopted daughter, Myrtle Cotton; and 10 grandchildren & 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Cecil Hinton Edwards, Jr.; brother, Harvey Bush; sisters, Frances Bush and Rosalie Farrell; and parents, Minnie Lee Woodard Bush and John Perry Bush.

Funeral services for Ms. Jackie Bush Benwell will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, October 9, 2021 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Hickory Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Randy Hartley will be officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Joey Lee Lundy, Carlos Ray Lundy, Hunter Wade Lundy, Martin Wade Edwards, Lavon Hattaway and Steven William Hattaway.
