Mr. Jack D. Smith, age 91, of Opp, Alabama passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2026 in Mizell Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Smith is survived by his son, Max Smith; grandchildren, Brandon Lee Smith & wife, Macy, and Jorden Chandler & husband, Shawn; great-grandchildren, Parker, Payton and Paisley; and sisters-in-law, Eulene Jones and Rebecca Mathews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann P. Smith; daughter, Janet Smith Holt; parents, Etha Mae Parish Smith and James Smith; brother, Paul Smith; and sister, Ann Smith.

Funeral services for Mr. Jack D. Smith will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, February 6, 2026 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Bro. Flint Harrelson will be officiating with Phillip Jones, Greg Phillips, Ken Phillips, Darren Smith, Phillip McKinney and Zack McKinney serving as pallbearers.
