Obituary

Mrs. Helen Elizabeth Reynolds, 90, of Opp, Alabama went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 29, 2026.

A devout Christian, the family matriarch, and epitome of true southern grace and style, Helen Reynolds lived a life of servant hood, quiet generosity, and family centered gratitude. Helen was an avid member of First Baptist Church for 46 years and joined Westview Baptist in 2021 to be with her family. She was a dutiful Sunday school teacher, faithful Army wife and devoted mother, diligent administrative assistant, and loving friend. Helen displayed Proverbs 31 character throughout her life and will be cherished in memory forever.

Mrs. Reynolds is survived by her daughter, Gail Reynolds Hall & husband, Kenneth; son, Steve Reynolds & wife, Karen; sisters, Jean Hargrove, Mary Jane Calhoun and Evelyn Reeves; brother, Rex Farmer & Betty; sisters-in-law, Mary Poppell and Jeanette Zellar; brother-in-law, Lloyd Reynolds; grandchildren, Heather Kyser & Josh, Jennifer Jackson, Cody Hall & Lauryn, Madeline Juchheim & Elliott, and Alexandra Stefanov & Henry; great-grandchildren, Katie Jackson, Elizabeth Kyser, Clay Kyser, Cam Kyser, Manning Jackson, Lynnlee Hall, Lennon Hall, Julie Stefanov, Ivy Stefanov, Reynolds Hall, Luke Adams and Beckett Adams; and numerous nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Lee Reynolds; parents, Minnie (Donaldson) & Ralphard Roy Farmer; sister, Barbara Rodgers; and brothers, Rudolph Farmer, Edward Farmer, Don Farmer and David Farmer.

Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Elizabeth Reynolds will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, May 2, 2026 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Gary Miller and Ralph Rimmer will be officiating with Cody Hall, Josh Kyser, Clay Kyser, Cam Kyser, Manning Jackson, Henry Stefanov and Elliott Juchheim serving as pallbearers.
