Mr. Haywood Franklin Nawlin, age 90, of Opp, Alabama passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026 in Opp Health & Rehab.

Mr. Nawlin is survived by his wife, Frances Crosby Nawlin; children, Kathy Hutcheson & husband, Dennis, Carol Polk & husband, Willis, Ruby Nell Wyatt & husband, Randy, Cindy Weeks & husband, Mike, David Nawlin & wife, Stacy, Marcus Nawlin & wife, Kim, John Nawlin & wife, Sara, Joseph Nawlin & wife, Stacey, Paul Nawlin & wife, Brenda, and Tammy Wilson & husband, John Wayne; and 32 grandchildren, 85 great-grandchildren & 9 great-great grandchildren with 5 more on the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruby Clyde Cain Nawlin and George Franklin Nawlin; brother, Albert Nawlin; and great-grandson, Hattson Boaz Nawlin.

Funeral services for Mr. Haywood Franklin Nawlin will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, February 1, 2026 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Bro. Elbert Smith will be officiating. Justin Hutcheson, Jonathan Cauley, Travis Wyatt, Dave Wyatt, Josh Nawlin and Jason Nawlin will be serving as pallbearers with the remaining grandsons serving as honorary pallbearers.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
