Mr. Gerald Nelson, age 73, of Opp, Alabama passed away Monday, June 15, 2026 in the Opp Nursing Home.

Mr. Nelson is survived by his brother, J.W. Nelson; sisters, Doris Hudson, Lucille Kilpatrick, and Carolyn Mack & husband, Eddie; and numerous nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Huey & Annie Nelson; brothers, Max and Roy Nelson; and sister, JoAnn Clark.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Friday, June 19, 2026 in Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
