Mr. Franklin Delong Simmons, age 88, of Opp, Alabama died Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at his home.

Mr. Simmons is survived by his wife, Ursula Stroh Simmons; sons, Gary Simmons and Mark Simmons; daughter, Tina Smalley; sister, Fannie Phillips; and five grandchildren & three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sallie Estelle Cooper Simmons and Burris James Simmons.

A graveside service for Mr. Franklin Delong Simmons will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, January 29, 2022 in Lowery Cemetery. Rev. Monroe Sasser will be officiating.
