Mrs. Frances Jimmerson Rushing, age 79, of Opp, Alabama passed away Monday, October 12, 2026 in Luverne Health & Rehab.

Mrs. Rushing is survived by her husband, Benny Rushing; sons, Curtis Rushing & wife, Patty, and Michael Rushing; daughter, Delicia Rushing Barrow & husband, Steve; brother, Leland Jimmerson & wife, Shirley; sister, Marion Hoffman & husband, Mark; and grandchildren, Bryant Rushing, Bryce Rushing, Jada Bess Butler & husband, Garrett, Jordan Bess, Jenna Bess and Tyler Rushing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sara Shirling Jimmerson and Leland Curtis Jimmerson.

A graveside service for Mrs. Frances Jimmerson Rushing will be held at 11:00am Friday, October 16, 2026 in Babbie Cemetery. There will be no visitation held prior to the service. Bro. Dwayne Seay will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
