Faye worked as a civil servant at Ft. Rucker for 28 years while, as the sole provider for her four children, she also worked evenings in restaurants. She retired from those jobs and became the secretary of the Opp First Methodist Church for the next 16 years. Faye sang in the choir and had a voice of liquid gold. In her younger days she was known for her dancing skills. She was the rock of our family, loved deeply by all of us, and we will deeply miss her.
