Everett Gaines Jeffcoat, age 71, of Montgomery, Alabama, was born on January 9, 1955, in Opp, Alabama to Gaines Ray and Audrey Jeffcoat. He died on September 23, 2026, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.

Everett graduated from Opp High School and Auburn University. He had a long and successful career with Farm Credit Services. He was a member of Frazer Methodist Church, where he sang in the choir and served in many other ways. He and his wife Patti enjoyed the fellowship of their supper club for almost 40 years.

Everett is survived by his wife, Patti; daughter, Jill Jones and her husband, Steve; grandchildren, Anne Wesley, Evie Gray, and Hank; and brother, David Jeffcoat and his wife, Janet. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Audrey Jeffcoat.

Everett was loved by all who knew him. He touched the lives of countless friends with his example, his wisdom, and his kindness. He loved his family deeply.

A graveside service for Mr. Everett Gaines Jeffcoat will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, September 27, 2026 in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens, 508 Hwy 52, Opp, AL 36467. Dr. Jimmy Jeffcoat will be officiating. A Celebration of Life will be held at Frazer Methodist Church in Montgomery at a later date.
