Mrs. Evelyn Parr Owens, age 89, of Opp, Alabama passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2024 in Andalusia Hospital.

Mrs. Owens is survived by her daughters, Vilinda "Vicky" Owens Boyett and Gwendilia Owens Murrah, & husband, Davy; sons, Vernon Owens & wife, Karen, Dwayne Owens & wife, Donna, and Henry Owens & wife, Amy; sister, Eloise Sims; brother, Richard Parr & wife, Alecia; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Joseph Owens; son-in-law, Ronnie Dean Boyett; and parents, Vonceil Meriwether Parr and Bobbie Lee Parr.

Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn Parr Owens will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 2, 2024 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Bro. Garry Winstead and Bro. Wayne Russell will be officiating.

The family will be receiving friends at Mrs. Owens home.
