Mrs. Emily Ziglar Rhymes, age 75, of Opp, Alabama passed away Saturday, April 25, 2026 at her home.

Mrs. Rhymes is survived by her husband of 54 years, Joseph L. Rhymes; son, Braddley Rhymes & his wife, Angi; daughters, Joi Rhymes and Tiffany Atwood; sister, Gloria Cobb; and grandchildren, Isaac Tillis, Raelyn Gurley, Hudson Rhymes and Aubrey Atwood. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Marjorie Elizabeth “Beth” Rhymes; parents, Mattie Lou Hudson Ziglar and Charlie Buford Ziglar; and brothers, Kenneth Ziglar and Marcell Ziglar.

A memorial service for Mrs. Emily Ziglar Rhymes will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, May 30, 2026 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Derwood Cleland officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the Opp First Methodist Church.
