Mr. William Earl McCormick, age 68, of Opp, Alabama passed away Thursday, January 23, 2025 at his home.

Earl is survived by his daughter & son-in-law, Starla McCormick Hicks & Alan; sister, Glenda Meredith & James; brother-in-law, Willie Skipper; 9 grandchildren & 18 great-grandchildren; and special friends, Molly Owens & Jeff and Dwight Scofield & Helen. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Skipper McCormick; son, Jimmy McCormick; brother, Jimmy Earl Darby; and parents, Alene Sweat McCormick and William Barnes McCormick.

Funeral services for Mr. William Earl McCormick will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, January 26, 2025 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Bro. Pete Roberts will be officiating with Starla Hicks, Tyler Hicks, Austin Griggs, Ashton Paquen, Jimmy McCormick, II and Heath Skipper serving as pallbearers.
