Ms. Dovie Ethel Floyd Hancock, age 92, of Andalusia, Alabama passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022 in Opp Health & Rehab.

Ms. Hancock is survived by her daughter, Martha Andrews & husband, Jimmy; sons, Charles Hancock and Mike Hancock; and four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Lois Floyd, Helen Floyd, Alvie Lee Blocker and Mary Agnes Floyd; brothers, Winford Floyd, Donald Floyd, James Henry Floyd, Jr., William Floyd and Q.P. Floyd; and parents, Mary Bell Weaver Floyd and James Henry Floyd, Sr.

Funeral service for Ms. Dovie Ethel Floyd Hancock will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, April 30, 2022 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Monroe Sasser will be officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Gary Floyd, Shelton Floyd, Cheyanne Floyd, Gavin Morrison, Brandon Hunt and Eli Roughton.
