Mr. Doug Sasser, age 88, of Opp, Alabama passed away Monday, August 4, 2025 in a Dothan hospital.

Doug is survived by his daughter, Diane Sasser Castleberry & husband, Steve; son, Alan Sasser; son-in-law, Bobby Fowler; 14 grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Joan Bozeman Sasser; daughter, Debra Lynn Sasser Fowler; daughter-in-love, Teresa Dean Sasser; grandson, Billy Smith; and parents, Orice Polk Sasser and Jack Sasser.

Funeral services for Mr. Doug Sasser will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, August 7, 2025 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Stone Lake Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Bro. Jack Day will be officiating with Chad Clark, Jeff Parker, Phillip Barrett, Ricky Roper, Mark Kyser and Matthew Leverington serving as pallbearers.
