Mrs. Dorothy Jean Wyatt, age 89, of Opp, Alabama passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2026 in Andalusia Manor.

Mrs. Wyatt is survived by her sons, Victor Wyatt & wife, Kathy, Randy Wyatt & wife, Ruby, Tony Wyatt & wife, Charlotte, Terry Wyatt & wife, Sherry, and Scott Wyatt & wife, Yana; daughter, Jeanna Wyatt Harrell & husband, Mark; brother, James Cogburn & wife, Linda; 20 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren & 12 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nephews & nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Wyatt, Sr.; and parents, Daniel & Bertha Cogburn.

Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Jean Wyatt will be held 11:00 am Friday June 5, 2026 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Sweetwater Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Bro Garry Winstead will be officiating with her grandchildren serving as pallbearers.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Sweetwater Baptist Church or the charity of one’s choice.

The family will be receiving friends at the home of daughter & son-in-law, Jeanna & Mark Harrell, 23710 Co Rd 32, Opp, AL 36467.
