Mrs. Dorothy Jacobs Jones, age 94, of Opp, Alabama passed away at her home Friday, January 1, 2021.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband, Earl Jones; sons & daughters-in-law, Gary Jones & Debbie, and Len Jones & Lisa; daughter & son-in-law, Susan Pyles & William; sisters, Dollie Moore and Annie "Boots" Kribs; grandchildren, William Jones & Margo, Jacob Jones & Amber, Tony Urdiales, Sherri Sanders & Matt, Brandon Pyles & Victoria, Tenicia Sconiers & Sashus; Chelsey Brown & C. J., and Sydney Jones; great-grandchildren, George Henry and Cooper Jones, Jack and Edie Sanders, Ayla Urdiales, Artemis Pyles, Paris and London Sconiers, R. J. and Tasia, and Baby Girl Brown due to arrive in May. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jewel Corkins Jacobs and Salbert Ashley Jacobs; brothers, Cassady Jacobs, Charlie Jacobs and Richard Jacobs; sister, Dora Colquett; and grandchildren, Joshua Len Jones and Cynthia Pyles.

Graveside services for Mrs. Dorothy Jacobs Jones will be held at 11 am Monday, January 4, 2021 in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Chelsey & C. J. Brown, Gary Jones and Brian Smith will be officiating with Wyatt Funeral Home directing. Serving as pallbearers will be Freddy Colquett, Lex Colquett, Ashley Colquett, Jay Mikel, Ricky Mikel and Kenneth Calhoun. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to First Baptist Church Opp, P.O. Box 963, Opp, Alabama 36467.
