Mrs. Doris Yancey Jones, age 89, of Opp, Alabama passed away Sunday, October 11, 2026 at her home.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her children, Terry Winston Jones & wife, Debbie, Laquetta Jones Grimes & husband, Jeff, Timothy Wayne Jones & wife, Jill, and Gayle Jones Craft; grandchildren, Anthony Jones & Heather, Amy Jones Jackson & Nolen, Hunter Grimes & Ginny, Hannah Grimes Martin & Joseph, Hayley Grimes Krantz & Harper, Brynne Jones Heape & Brannon, Brittany Jones Dilworth & Brian, Abbie Craft Seaney & Adam, Emily Craft Bramwell & A J, and Katie Craft Crigger & Carl; twenty-five great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Lera Ellison and Carmaletta Hawthorne; and brother-in-law, Wayne Jones & wife, Barbara. She was preceded in death by her husband, Winston Jones.

Funeral services for Mrs. Doris Yancey Jones will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 14, 2026 from Westview Baptist Church with burial following in Cool Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Westview Baptist Church from 12:30 pm until service time. Rev. Wayne Sharpe will be officiating with Anthony Jones, Hunter Grimes, Cade Jones, William Grimes, Will Jackson and Clay Jackson serving as pallbearers. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Winston Martin, Sam Martin, Henry Martin, Jackson Grimes, Lawson Dilworth, John Wilson Dilworth, Asher Seaney and Abel Seaney.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
