Mrs. Doris Christine Halacker, age 95, of Dozier, AL passed away Sunday, September 1, 2024 at Baptist Hospital South.

Mrs. Doris Halacker is survived by her daughter, Dr. Carla Z. Halacker of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; sons, Kennard B. Halacker of Dozier and Mason H. Halacker and wife, Anita of Greenville; sister, Kathleen Hataway of Kinston; granddaughters, Christi Ingram and husband, Daniel, and April Posey and husband, Neil, both of Greenville; and great-grandchildren, Lilly Ingram, Isaac Ingram, Chrishauna Toles, and Jay Halacker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl H. Halacker; son, Mark Allen Halacker; parents, Mallie Rillie Mitchell and Alice Saunders Mitchell; sister, Mildred Thompson; and brother, Calvin Mitchell.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Doris Halacker will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, September 4, 2024 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Sweetwater Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.  Bro. Mason Halacker, Minister of Union Baptist Church, Honoraville and Bro. Trey Poole, Minister of Opp Church of Christ will be officiating with Gregory Hataway, Dominy Hataway, John Saunders, Jay Mikel, Neil Posey, Isaac Ingram and Jay Halacker serving as pallbearers.
