Mrs. Doris Maddox Bean, age 98, of Silver Springs, Maryland passed away Monday, March 18, 2024 at her home.

Mrs. Bean is survived by her sons, Edward C. "Cary" Bean, Jr and his wife, Nina, and Carl Thad Bean. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward C. Bean, Sr.; parents, Alma Mae Martin Maddox and John Thad Maddox; brother, John Maddox; and sister, Ann Blue.

A graveside service for Mrs. Doris Maddox Bean will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, March 26, 2024 in the Opp City Cemetery. Pastor Brian Smith will be officiating.
