Mr. Donald Jess Jackson, Sr., age 71, of Opp, Alabama died Friday, July 10, 2020 in an automobile accident.

Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Sullivan Jackson; daughter & son-in-law, Tina Melinda Mock & Cecil; sons & daughters-in-law, Donald Jess Jackson, Jr. & Wendy, and Doyle Edward Jackson & Ann; sisters, Tammy Rushworth and Gail Wilkerson; brother & sister-in-law, Ingram Jackson & Lou; 5 grandchildren & 2 great- grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dulcie Thomas Rushworth & Jessie Lee Jackson; and grandson, Jamison Doyle Jackson.

Funeral services for Mr. Donald Jess Jackson, Sr. will be held at 2 pm Monday, July 13, 2020 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Beulah Cemetery. Sister Rhonda Williams & Brother John Lolley will be officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Lee Jackson, Junior Jackson, Ben Devine, Troy Wise, Ashton Tate, Lamar Hudson, Paul Wingard and Mark Wilkerson. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
