Mr. Derrick "BoBo" King, age 50, of Opp, Alabama died Friday, October 1, 2021 at Southeast Health in Dothan due to complications of COVID-19.

BoBo is survived by his mother, Shirley King; daughter, Ayla B. King; brother, Darryl King & wife, Melissa; sisters, Sherry King Weeks & husband, Steve, and Meagan King Pettis & husband, Russell; and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Winston King; and brother, Darren King.

A memorial service for Mr. Derrick "BoBo" King will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to the service. Brent Cook will be officiating.
