Mr. John David Trant, age 49, of Slocomb, Alabama passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 9, 2023 in Walton County, Florida.

David is survived by his daughter, Katie Trant; son, Ben Trant; mother, Gail Sutley Davis & husband, Cliff; sister, April Trant Hodge & husband, Chris; niece, Kaylee Hodge; and numerous aunts, uncles & cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, John Willis Trant.

Funeral services for Mr. John David Trant will be held at 11:00 am Friday, April 14, 2023 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Tommy Green will be officiating with Aaron Hightower, Jason Spann, Matthew Spann, Shane Odom, Justin Davis and Dennis Allred serving as pallbearers.

The family would like to offer a special thank you to David's uncle, Bill Trant, for all he's done to show his love and concern during this difficult time.
