Mr. Michael David Piland, age 68, of Opp, Alabama died Saturday, February 27, 2021 in Flowers Hospital.

David is survived by his son & daughter-in-law, Michael Piland & Kristi; grandchildren, Mason, Emilee, Addison, Addy and Tucker; siblings, Marcus Piland, Barbara Kinsey & husband, Henry, and Steve Piland & wife, Debbie; nieces & nephews; Ivy Cauley & Jeff, Chad Kinsey & Lee, Erin Fisk & Phil, Brandy Hornsby & Johnathan, and Michael E. Piland & Karen; along with many great nieces & nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nell & Hollis Piland; and niece, Holly Piland Rhoades.

Funeral services for Mr. Michael David Piland will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, March 3, 2021 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 at Wyatt Funeral Home. Rick Butler will be officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Jeff Cauley, Blade Boles, Bobby Smith, Kyle Lowe, Casey Piland and Michael Piland.
