Mr. James David McDaniel, age 69, of Opp, Alabama passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024 at his home.

Mr. McDaniel is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda Sue Jones McDaniel; son, Justin McDaniel & wife, Heather; daughters, Kayla Anderson & husband, Phillip, and Malori Mitchell & husband, Dalton; brother, Robert McDaniel & wife, Susie; sisters, Alice Dalrymple & husband, John, and Donna Butts & husband, Tony; grandchildren, Will Anderson, Chloe Anderson, Madelyn Worley, Katie Worley, Easton Worley, Isabella Anderson, Jack McDaniel, Hadley McDaniel, Ella Mitchell and Emerie Mitchell; and great-grandchild, Ryder Anderson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gladys Atkins McDaniel & Clifton McDaniel; and brother, Bruce McDaniel.

Funeral services for Mr. James David McDaniel will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday, February 14, 2024 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Sweet Home Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Jonathan Jones will be officiating with Seth Butts, Randy Hughes, Brandon Worley, Justin Hughes, Kurt Norris and Dwight Underwood serving as pallbearers.
