Mr. Dallas G. Henderson, age 90, of the Cedar Grove Community passed away Friday, August 26, 2022 in Mizell Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Henderson is survived by his wife of 67 years, Peggy Jo Barnett Henderson; daughter & son-in-law, Tammy Henderson Mount & Daryl; brother & sister-in-law, Jake Henderson & Peggy; sister, Martha Henderson Messick; grandchildren, Jessica Foley McDaniel & husband, Ty, and Magen Foley Alexander & husband, Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Elliot & Wilder McDaniel, and Collins Catherine Alexander arriving in November; nieces & nephews, Greg Henderson, Tim Messick, Ricky Messick, Patricia Edge, Debbie Williamson, Gary Barnett, Terry Barnett, Keith Barnett, Darrell Barnett, Alesia Sasser and Renee Barnett; and many great-nieces & great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clara Bell & Dallas Macon Henderson; brother-in-law, Rudolph Messick; brother-in-law, Ralph Barnett & wife, Mary; and sister-in-law, Ouida Paul & husband, Bud.

Funeral services for Mr. Dallas G. Henderson will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, August 28, 2022 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Wyatt Funeral Home two hours prior to the service. Phillip Morgan will be officiating with special music by Larry Sasser. Serving as pallbearers will be Leon Wages, Virgil Sasser, Alex Short, Ricky Foley, Daniel Henderson and Gary Barnett with Randy Sasser and Steve Yelverton serving as honorary pallbearers.

The family would like to offer a special thank you to Juanita Jacobs, Olivia Knight, Rhonda Stanley, Teresa Holcomb and Emma Nell Crittenden for the wonderful care they have provided.

The family will be receiving friends at the Henderson home, 22759 Peggy Rd., Andalusia, AL 36421.
