Mr. Charles "Chuck" Walter Cumbie, age 70, of Opp, Alabama passed away Friday evening at Mizell Memorial Hospital.

Chuck was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing.

Mr. Cumbie is survived by his wife, Ida Pearl Trammell Cumbie; daughter, Ashley Davidson & Courtney; sisters, Judy Lunsford and Betty Farmer & Rex; brother, Steve Cumbie & Doreen; and grandchildren, Amber Cumbie, Ethan Flowers, Brittany Cumbie, Christopher Bramble, Hope Barclay, Tyler Macer, Ansley Cumbie and Allie Sutley along with 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sons, Brad Cumbie and Aric Cumbie; brother, Donnie Cumbie; and parents, Talmer Turner Cumbie and Walter Washington Cumbie.

Funeral services for Mr. Charles "Chuck" Walter Cumbie will be held at 10 am Tuesday, November 17, 2020 from Scripture Truth Baptist Church with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Dorman Nelson will be officiating with eulogy given by brother, Steve Cumbie. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 6 until 8 at Scripture Truth Baptist Church. Serving as pallbearers will be Clifton "Pee Wee" Harrell, Donnie Chamblee, Mike Wiggins, Chuck Patterson, Myron Anderson and Lonnie Sullivan with Edward Hickman and Chuck Burgess serving as honorary pallbearers.

The family will be receiving food in the church fellowship hall during visitation hours. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Opp Parks & Recreation Dept., 1000 Cameron Rd., Opp, AL 36467.
