Mrs. Charlotte Ann Gunnels Gilchrist, age 86, of Opp, Alabama passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022 in a Dothan hospital.

Mrs. Gilchrist is survived by her husband of 63 years, Richard H. Gilchrist; son, Ricky Gilchrist; daughter, Margaret Gilchrist Morgan; sister, Mary Gunnels Wyatt & husband, Carrel; brother-in-law, Sidney Gilchrist & wife, Tina; grandsons, Trey Dunbar and Christopher Dunbar & wife, Beth; and great-grandson, Jack Richard Dunbar. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marguerite McArdle Gunnels and Charlie F. Gunnels; and son-in-law, Ricky Morgan.

Funeral services for Mrs. Charlotte Ann Gunnels Gilchrist will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, March 12, 2022 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Bro. Wayne Sharpe and Bro. Gary Miller will be officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Cale Pierce, Wyatt Horn, Michael Whitt, Eddie Borneman, Jacob Kenney and Jonathan Kenney.
