Charles Henry Messick, Sr., age 79, of Opp, Alabama passed away Thursday, July 9, 2020 in the Opp Health & Rehab.

Mr. Messick is survived by his sons, Chuck Messick & wife, Daphne, Dave Messick & wife, JoAnne, Ryan King & wife, Tandy, and Chris King; daughter, Tina Ramer & husband, Keith; brothers, Edward Messick and Jimmy Messick; sisters, Helen Parrish and Deborah Bourdon; and 11 grandchildren & 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Barlow Messick; parents, Irene McPherson Messick and Clifford Houston Messick; and sister, Hazel Messick.

Funeral services for Mr. Charles Henry Messick, Sr. will be held at 1 pm Saturday, July 11, 2020 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Pine Level Cemetery. There will be no visitation prior to the service. Dwayne Seay will be officiating.
